Okay so this trip report is way over due…
The last time we did Bukit Saga, we went in through the old access to the trail head from Jalan Saga 28. Unfortunately, that has since been closed off to the public, but you can still do Bukit Saga if you enter from Jalan Taman Saga.
Bukit Saga Trail Map
There are multiple trails on Saga-Apek Hill which you can check out on this map from Trek N Trail:

The trail I took last time was Trek A. The trail we took this time went as follows:
- Trek B to Saga Hill Top
- Trek D to Waterfall 1
- Station 5
- Station 6
- Saga Hill Top and back down Trek B
You can find more details and updates on Bukit Saga-Apek Hill from Hikers for Life.
Trek B
Like Trek A, Trek B launches straight into an relentless, uphill ascent for most of the way to Saga Hill Top.
The Babes blazed the trail, even saving some smiles for the camera.
There is a nice place with tree stumps to rest just before the final ascent to Saga Hill Top.
Although you could power on to the top because it’s not far after that.
Saga Hill Top
Once you get to the top, you can pass out on the hammocks…
…or relax on the swings if you still some a bit of recovery time.
If you’re feeling extra energetic, why not do some weight training?
On to the Waterfall
There are some tricky descents along the way…
…with a bit of scrambling required.
But plenty of time for goofing around along the way.
Finally made it to the waterfall. It’s a small one so we pass by the top before taking a splash at the bottom.
See? Not very tall.
But good enough for a few Babe-worthy poses.
On to Station 5
Starting to feel the fatigue of the hike so there were not many photos from this point. The hardest part about leaving the waterfall is reminding your body you still have to get home.
Station 6
But we make it anyway. Here we are at Station 6 – the home stretch.
There is also a tree house that is usually open only on the weekends.
There are toilets here as well at at the top of Saga Hill.
The Home Run
From Section 6, it’s on to Saga Hill Top and back down Trek B (or Trek A) to the cars. Yeah… no pictures. We’re all out of smiles for the camera. All we can think about is getting home.
Many thanks to our guides – MK Rahman and crew from HACAM) – for leading the way, and to my favourite Babes, for the awesome company.
